The MAST project aims to lead Mediterranean hospitality SMEs towards more resilient, circular and sustainable management systems. This initiative is guided by the ISO 21401:2018 standard and focuses on the development of a sustainability protocol and self-assessment tool adapted for easy implementation in accommodation businesses. The tool intends to make it easier for hospitality SMEs to explore their overall level of environmental sustainability and economic and social sustainability as well as their level of adaptation to the ISO 21401 criteria.
