The 2nd Tourism Workshop "KRITON PHILOXENEIN" on "Synergies of Sustainable Tourism Development", was held on Saturday, October 15, 2022, in Rethymno, at the House of Culture. Organized by the Rethymnon Hotel Association, the Rethymnon Chamber of Commerce, the Municipality of Rethymnon and the Cretan Digital Business Portal. 3win Action contributed with two speakers, Akrivi Vagena and Vassilis Spokos to the proceedings of the workshop.
22-23 April 2023 | 2nd UNICART International Tourism Conference, entitled Eastern Europe & the Mediterranean basin - "Come back home"
3win Action represented Greece, with the contribution of the President of our Steering Committee Dr. LA.Papakonstantinides at the 2nd UNICART International Tourism Conference, entitled Eastern Europe & the Mediterranean basin - "Come back home". The subject focused on a new thematic form of Tourism, called "Roots Tourism". The conference took place on 22nd-23rd April 2023, in La Valletta, Malta and Vlore, Albania. The presentation was entitled Sustainable TOURISM: The win-win-win Papakonstantinidis model.
10-11 April 2024 | Thematic Community Project (C4T) of the Sustainable Tourism Mission, Kick-off Meeting
On April 10 and 11, 2024, the Thematic Community Project (C4T) of the Sustainable Tourism Mission held its Kick-off Meeting in Rome at the Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma – UNINT 🇮🇹 where the MAST project partners met.
During the event, various Thematic and Governance Projects from the Sustainable Tourism Mission participated alongside innovation, circular economy, climate change, nature, and biodiversity experts. Secretary of 3win Action’s Steering Committee, Gian Andrea Garancini, WP leader of MAST project introduced our work to the attendants.
The Kick-off Meeting served as an opportunity to welcome the new projects into the Community, begin establishing connections, and identify synergies. It provided a platform for sharing the plans and strategies of the C4T project to support the activities, as well as the transfer and capitalization of their results. It was great meeting the partners of the Thematic projects of the SustainableTourism Mission, the Associated Partners, the thematic experts & representatives of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme Missions.
12-14 July 2024 | 3rdth International Women’s Entrepreneurship Forum
Vice President of our Steering Committee, Dr. Akrivi Vagena represented 3win Action, to the works of the 3rd International Women's Entrepreneurship Forum that took place in Heraklion Crete, 12-14th of July. Dr. Vagena's contribution was in the section "Women's footprint in the local economy". IWEF was organized by the National Network of Women Entrepreneurs and Development Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Crete with the support of the Region of Crete and all Chambers of the island.
